David & Kathrynn Buist founded Ashfield Removals company in 1972. This family business provided local removalist services in their early days, however did not focus on interstate furniture removals. They decided to continue the business full time, hiring additional staff to meet growing customer demands of the booming Western Sydney area. Eventually interstate furniture removals became part of the business and Ashfield Removals grew exponentially.

Today, we have more than 20 furniture removalists that work with over 4500 customers a year.
